Penang Twestival 2010 Part 4

Penang Twestival was a great success! Thanks to all the cheerful giver. You all will be bless always. Through the entire event, we managed to raise more than RM9K from donation tickets, auctions and Porsche ride. It was an amazing experienced for all Penangnite as this was the very first event in Penang. Pictures are taken from Penang Twestival Facebook fan page.

This is the venue sponsor for the event, OXOCafe Lab. The owner Mr Don Tan is very supportive on charity work.

This is a Porsche, Cayman. Being sponsored by Porsche Penang to raise funds for the event.

These are 2 of the 3 groups of singers that volunteered to perform on that night to show their support to Penang Twestival. First picture above is Deja Vu and the lady in green is none other than Florence Koh. She is part of the High Society group.

Those beauties are from the Miss Mean Machines 2009 winners and finalists.

The rest of the pictures are from the event itself. Everyone had a great time there including YB Sim. He was there to support Penang Twestival too without any press around. Ain't he sweet? :D It's just nice to see all the happy faces there. Some people walk away with prices from the lucky draw and some with the auction prices. Oh.. not forgetting, one young lady walk away with a hunk from the auction. Total bid on that hunk was RM600! :D Way to go..... all for charity!

iPhone Application: Whatsapp Part 3

Most people are now on BB or iPhone. It is more cost effective and cheaper communicating with each other using whatsapp. As mention in my previous post, you can SMS, MMS, send location map and etc.
Today, I have print screen three pictures for you to have a look at the program.

The picture below shows you the various type of status you can notify your friends and love ones. You can create new status and old status are kept for future references.

Meanwhile this is the main screen for your chat room.

Look at the additional options that you can enjoy sharing it with your friends and love ones.

I love getting connected to my friends and family thru whatsapp. It's cost saving! :D

Both BB can send pictures, audio note, share contact and location to iPhone and vice versa! I have personally test it with my friend who is a BB user.

Take note, if you are not a BB or iPhone user but wish to use this application. Fear not! Whatsapp is now developing for another 2 more platform and they are symbian for nokia user and android. Stay tune!

Food: Annabelle's Place

Visited this nice little restaurant called Annabelle's Place last Sunday for lunch. This was not part of my plan for the day but eventually my cousin took us there for a late lunch. It's located at the new Casa Permai 2 shophouses built by Boon Siew Group. When you get there, you won't miss the place. Just look out for the signboard! :D

The place have been renovated and decorated nicely. I love the layout and the design. It's very westernize. Check out some of the pictures I took of the place.

They serve western cuisine. The food taste good and the serving is normal (neither too big or small). Enjoyed my time there as there were not many people for late lunch. If you are around that corner and wanted something quiet and nice, you should try it.

Address: 10 Lebuh Lembah Permai 4
11200 Tanjung Bungah

Food: Kopi Cine

Sunday means the day for my photography. This week I visited another new place called Kopi Cine at Stewart Lane. It's located at a corner of a T junction. The entire row of the houses are under the same management called Straits Collection under the Bon Ton Group. There is a website that contain full details about the residence, restaurant and retail too - http://www.straitscollection.com.my

After browsing the website and was informed by a friend of mine, I decided to visit the place. The person in charge who maintain the place is doing a great job. Reason being the pictures you see in the website is almost similar to the place at this point of time. I was quite impress with it.

As usual, I was busy taking pictures of the place. That is something I really enjoy doing and love doing it cos it bring joy to my life. For one, I am not a person who likes to write a lot. I just like to share the pictures I took. To me, pictures said a thousand words. Agree? :P While I was busy taking pictures, a lady by the name of Ms Anna Yoon took time to show me around the Reading Room and Residence. She is so friendly and informative. Thank you, Ms Anna! You make me feel so welcome at home as though I was a foreigner. Let me share with you some pictures.

There are so many things to see and share. I think I over shared pictures here. :P Spend so much time taking pictures of everything except food! I only took 2 pictures on food and it is not an attractive picture but the food is GOOD! It's not as expensive as Amelie's Cafe as the price is quite reasonable.

See told you only 2 pictures. Hehe... Just bare in mind that you might find it a little hard to find a parking lot but it is surely worth the experience. Oh.. and for those who have little children, don't worry as crayons are provided and the tables are covered with mahjong paper. It's very creative and I love it! :D If you are interested to see the little me trying hard to be creative, scroll a little lower down and tada.......

Opps.... sorry I am not creative at all! :P
