JAPAN 2013

After 9 long years, I went back to Japan again. This time round, it was a free and easy trip with my family to Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo. We were there for 10 days, last 2 weeks of August. If you are not a a big fan of heat, avoid going there during summer. I got home one shades darker.

It was more of a toys hunting trip for me. Not much sight seeing at the tourist attraction but we went to places normally tours don't take us. We were from family mart to shopping malls to toys malls. Instead of traveling from one place to another by bus, we travelled mostly by trains and foot. It was a very adventurous as we get lost and we get to spot more things while we were lost.

All I can say is that I love toys, I love photography and surely I love JAPAN! Pictures I took are the things I saw while I was in Japan. From train stations to shrine, snap shots while I was crossing the roads to road sign and many more.

Cozy in the rocket

Yet another cafe in Penang, Cozy in the rocket. It was previously known as Amelia Cafe, currently closed down due to renovation. This new cafe is located at the corner of Beach Street and Armenian Street. Just nearby from the old location of the Amelia Cafe. You won't miss it because it is just at the corner before you enter into Armenian Street. They are open from 10am to 5pm daily except Monday.

I love about this new layout is that it is a bigger place and it offers both indoor (air con) and outdoor facilities. Besides that, the reno reminds me of Aussie style of cafes. So I guess, I will be going back quite often then. :) For those of you who loves your coffee and want a simple breakfast or lunch, you should try it.

The outdoor layout of the place.

This was my lovely breakfast. The bacon was nicely done - super crispy!

Go and enjoy! :)

Melbourne 2012

Was in Melbourne for two weeks. Wondering here and there in the city. Here are some of the pictures I took while I was there.
