Food: Vintage Bulgaria Restaurant

Last weekend my cousin took us all out for dinner and we went to try Bulgarian food. It's my first time and I was kinda excited about it. The place was cozy and there is upstairs near the bar and down stairs which is the main dining place. Unfortunately the place was packed, we have to go upstairs. The environment upstairs was more quite as the night was still young. :D

There were about 5 of us and we ordered different dinner set to taste. The set consist of soup, main course, drink and dessert. Enjoyed the soup and salad too. 

Then come the main course of lamb, spaghetti, chicken and vegetables. 

The spaghetti bolognese sause was good. I like it just the way it was served without adding any additional cheese.  

Here are the range of desserts.... pumpkin, cheese cake, creme brulee and mousse.

Food: Annabelle's Place

Visited this nice little restaurant called Annabelle's Place last Sunday for lunch. This was not part of my plan for the day but eventually my cousin took us there for a late lunch. It's located at the new Casa Permai 2 shophouses built by Boon Siew Group. When you get there, you won't miss the place. Just look out for the signboard! :D

The place have been renovated and decorated nicely. I love the layout and the design. It's very westernize. Check out some of the pictures I took of the place.

They serve western cuisine. The food taste good and the serving is normal (neither too big or small). Enjoyed my time there as there were not many people for late lunch. If you are around that corner and wanted something quiet and nice, you should try it.
