Are you aware there is an Esprit Outlet in Penang? Well, of course it is not in Penang Island exactly. It is in Sunway Carnival Mall over in the Mainland. Here is the location...

In the outlet you can get the clothes cheaper after the mark down and sometimes even with additional discount! Woohhooo......... Now I don't shop at the Esprit Boutique anymore but the OUTLET!

About two days back, I went to one of the Lovely Lace branch in BM. Was there at Bandar Prada for dinner then window shopping. As I was looking through the pink pink stuff and then I realize these cute piglets staring at me at each different corner. The minute I saw it, I told myself I got to take them home with me to show it to Peky. Well, of course I am not going to buy them because it will take up too much space in Peky's bedroom and so I decided to take pictures of them. With just taking pictures, I can help myself to save more $$ and don't add to much pressure to Peky. :P Just not each to spend and give each of the piglets equal attention. :D

First Business Trip after 9 months

I know I haven't been blogging for a couple of days now. Hope I have the energy today to blog about my short disappearance here. This morning, I could barely move my body to get up and go to work. Now... I find that I need millions of energy to even raise my fingers to type. That is how worn out I am right now, with the back pain and sore after the chiropractic and the not enough rest after the travel.

Did I mention travel? Yes, it was a sudden decision that I needed to be away for business. At least after 9 months of break due to my recent ovarian cyst operation in April and my slip disc. Guess the wound for the operation is good except now and then, I do sense some pain right there. On the the other hand, my slip disc problem is still bothering me right till this very second.

I have been away for a couple of days and it seems like forever to me. Just that I am not used to traveling again after such a long break. It was a horrible long haul flight as it hurts my back to badly. Oh well, I am just glad that I am home now. Had my chiro session last night and the ache is just hanging around along with the pain. :( Not the kind of combination that I want at this point of time. Not going to talk much about my business trip but just sharing some pictures I took while I was there. Hope you enjoy it. :D

iPhone App: First Aid App help save life

If you have been following up with the world news, you will not missed the lastest quake that hit Haiti. Many life have been claimed, the numbers are yet unknown for sure and expected to exceed 100000. It is a very shocking news to everyone around the world. Many countries have sent their medical and rescue team to Haiti to give a helping hand. Even after a few days, there are few who were rescued alive. Praise God! Here is one of the testimony of a survivor in the Haiti quake. His gadgets like camera and iPhone had helped him pull thru those 65 hours when he was trapped in the lobby. Besides that, God really answer his prayer cause there is no way for an iPhone to last 65 hours without charging. He uses the alarm more to wake him up every 20 mins to avoid falling asleep. Amazed by it? It is a true life story. To read more about it, click here.

Various version of Oinks

I was reading one of the blogs I visit on a daily basis. The author posted how pigs look likes in Hong Kong and Hatyai. Now I would like to show her how pigs looks like in Melbourne and Ipoh and Penang.

Every year, Queensbay Mall (QBM) will have different theme for Chinese New Year (CNY), Raya and even Christmas. For this year 2010, QBM have come up with a very nice and different theme. Penang is like Malacca, famous for it's uniqueness of localization. Things like trishaw, the pre-war houses and many more. However, Penang is developing so fast that you don't find that many anymore these days. It is now filled with high rise condominiums every where. If you happen to drop by Penang during the CNY, do visit QBM and see the decorations. I will give them a 5 star  credit for coming up with this theme - The old days in Penang! :D Here are some shots that I had taken yesterday after work. Enjoy!

iPhone App: Moodagent

A couple of days back, I found out this interesting application on iTunes about how to match your mood with your music. There are five colourful bars that you can push up and down. The first bar which us red in colour represent sensual, orange stands for tender, yellow is joy, while purple is for aggressive and grey for tempo! When each and every bar is adjust according to your mood, the entire collection of songs in ur iTunes will compile accordingly..... Let me introduce to you Moodagent! You can check it out at iTunes too.

Besides all that, it even have the Moodagent Profiler for you to sync with your Mac or PC. This will enable you to use sync Mac and iPhone together to save your music collections.

On Sunday, I was having seafood dinner with my uncle and his family. It was beside the near the sea. It has very nice view when the sun is setting but the food was just so so only. Nothing for me to blog about but just some sharing of pictures. I am lately busy with stuff and there ain't much time for me for blogging and photography. Sad about this but I do hope situation can change back.

Old and New Look

I am a person who likes to change my hairstyle randomly. Those who knows me very well, it is not something extra ordinary. However, for the past one year... I had slow down a lot. Guess age is catching up on me, faster than I thought. Thus, this year 2010, I had decided to change a bit more on my hairstyle and tada! :D You will see the picture in your left is 2009 hairstyle and on the right is the 2010 hairstyle! Which do you prefer and why? Let me your honest opinion!

Week One of Twenty Ten

Can you imagine it has been a week since we had stepped in to Twenty Ten? Imagine how much time have just flown by.... It has been a great week for me. I thank God for the brand new year and I am looking forward to see what He had planned for me. As for work, nothing much has changed as we are still working for 3 or 4 days of work. So far, there ain't any good sign that the market is going to recover anytime soon. In away, it is a blessing in disguise where I can attend church and no more excuses for myself.

Thus, only God knows what is best for me. I want to thank God for sticking me by all these years when I strayed so far from Him. Time over time, He showed me His love and care and never let me go.

So far this week, I had lots of unimaginative birthday wishes, cards and gifts too! It is  the thought of each wisher and giver that I am really thankful for! Thank you so much! Each and everyone of you really make my day! :D I am a very happy late 30s "girl"!

I got to go now, need to get ready to go out for dinner cause I have a date with my Daddy God. Thanks for dropping by... Chao for now! Remember to drop by again.

Another year older?

I always thought that I will have another boring turning 29 this year. However, to my surprise, it is not that bad after all. It has been the 3rd day since 2 January and I am still enjoying every moment of it. Last year, few days before 2010, Peky and Jonie took much effort making time to celebrate my early-birthday with me. We had a nice take-away Dominos and dine it at Jonie's new apartment. It was my first time there and I love her place. To be honest, it is good as she has all the privacy she wants unlike before when she was renting a room.

During the entire night, we had fun eating all the way from Dominos to Vietnamese dessert to champagne and then my Birthday cake! Yes, this year I have my cake again! :D We had a great time catching up with one another and have fun with her keyboard and some pictures snapping! Here are some of the pictures I took.

On the actual day itself, my mum took me to Sire Museum for a nice dinner. It is located at King Street, Penang. The place is very maintain with lots of nice and antique stuff. The front portion of the place is for dinning while the back and upstairs is like a museum. You are not allow to take any picture in the museum area. The food is just average while the price is on the pricy side. I ordered steak but it doesn't taste anything closed to what I had in TGIF for Christmas Eve dinner. I will summarize it as a place for chilling out for coffee due to it's chilling environment.

New Year's Day

Every single year, on the New Year's Day I will be at home sitting facing the television. However, this year I was invited to join my friend, Annabel for BBQ session with her friends. It is going to be an outing with another 20 of her friends which only 4 that I know. I haven't had one for a long long time so I decided to join them. It was at Teresa's Sister condo - The Spring along the Jelutong Highway.

The BBQ session started about 7pm and headed all the way till about 12am before we managed to clean up and leave the place. Thank God for the good weather, no rain and very windy! The entire is just good food, drinks and fellowship.

Designs on the coffee

I love coffee and to be exact it is cafe latte that I love! While I was in Melbourne last year visiting my brother, I will order latte for my drinks. Some of the shops will have my latte comes with nice designs. It is hard to find this in Penang but until tonight, I found one really nice design on my coffee! Let me share it with you. Ain't it pretty? :D

New Year Eve

Last night, I was just stuck at home after work to be safe then sorry on the road. It was the last few hours to say goodbye to 2009 and welcoming 2010. After I got back from work about 7pm, I ordered Dominos for dinner via online (learned that from Peky). It is one of the easy website for you to make your order and I wish they will have the iPhone app version in Malaysia. In Australia iTunes store, Dominos App is available for download.

The entire night last night, I was just catching up with movies on Astro and had my lappie on. So I tweeted a lot last night with a new found twitter - Jason Gan. Guess, randomly we both avoided the crowd and stayed at home.

Without fail, I am mostly at home on New Year's Eve with mum. We are the people who don't like crowds. Just chilling in the air-con and quite environment at home until the clock strikes 12am! Happy New Year!! Then I heard fireworks sound from QBM. So I rush out to the garden to see it! I can't see much from my house but I am still satisfied. In spilt seconds, all the New Year's sms keep coming in. Mum was just beside me, I turn around and gave her a BIG New Year hug!

I have been waiting for 2010 and glad that it is finally here. Looking to a different beginning of my life and hopes for the best. Wishing everyone of you out there a Blessed New Year and God bless!
