Photography: Penang Times Square

Last Sunday, my cousin sister, Stephanie and myself was there to attend the Christmas event in Penang Times Square. It is organized by the churches in Penang and Penang State Government as well. They have tents and stage up for the performance. The response was good as the whole place was packed with young and old people. Each church will contribute different performances such as singing, dance and many more.

(Peky.... ain't that your Pastor? :P)

That was my first time there ever since it open. The place is quite big but there ain't many shops that are open. Sunshine City had just opened recently and they are having promotion. The main crowd for shoppers was for that shop only.

However, the christmas decoration was up. The place was filled with christmas lights and trees too.

We were there early so we wonder around the place both inside and outside for some nice shots. There isn't to see or eat or do. Guess, for the place to survive, it needs more entertainment and variety of shops. It's not a place that I will go back unless there are improvement. I even find it hard to find a place for food as only few restaurants are there and mostly packed! We ended up trying this new restaurant .... Gasoline. I find that the food is too oily and nothing special.

Among the shops, only one shop was very "happening" there as it was their grand opening day. They even invited models, photographers, the great "tai-tai"s and all hot chicks too! The name of the shop is none other than....

This shop is their first shop and they sells cloths while the second shop sells shoes. Buffet was served for all the invited guest. The picture below was taken from Level 1 as the ground floor was packed by the hired photographers and vistiors.

I didn't stay long to watch the cat walk and fashion show on the shoe. Took a glance earlier before the event started and nothing nice capture my eyes. I think Charles and Keith have a better range of collections. Before ending this post, let me show you what I see on the surrounding of Penang Times Square.

Last but not least the evening view of Komtar (Penang ICON).
